Screenshot editor

Make the point. Hide the noise.

ScrollWeave brings the useful finishing tools into the same local workflow, so a screenshot can go from raw capture to ready-to-share without a second app.

  • Crop, draw, add arrows, boxes, highlights, and text.
  • Blur or pixelate sensitive details before sharing.
  • Undo, redo, copy, and export from one focused canvas.

Privacy by architecture

Your page stays your page.

ScrollWeave is designed around local processing. The current extension release has no account, no analytics SDK, no cloud image processor, and no screenshot upload step.

How it works

From page to polished file in three steps.

Open the extension, choose a frame, and keep the handoff simple.

01

Choose a capture mode

Full page, visible area, or a precise region. Keyboard shortcuts and context-menu actions are there when you need them.

02

Shape the message

Use the local editor to crop, annotate, highlight, blur, or add context without sending the pixels anywhere.

03

Export or keep it local

Save as PNG, JPEG, or multi-page PDF. Recent captures can stay in local history until you clear them.

A clean handoff

Choose the format that fits the next step.

Keep a crisp source image, make a lighter shareable file, or turn a long page into a document.

PNG

Lossless image export for crisp UI, design review, and documentation references.

lossless

JPEG

A smaller file when you need a quick attachment, message, or lightweight archive.

compact

Multi-page PDF

Turn a long webpage into a paginated document with A4 or Letter sizing.

document-ready

Made for real work

Useful wherever the page is the source.

Documentation that reads top to bottom.

Capture guides, release notes, API references, and knowledge-base pages without stitching screenshots by hand.

Product feedback

Point at the exact UI detail with arrows, boxes, highlights, or text.

Safer sharing

Blur sensitive content locally before a screenshot leaves your device.

Capture history, on this device.

Keep recent captures close for quick access, or set the history limit to zero when you do not want local history.

Browser availability

Start with Chrome. Keep the door open.

The current release is built for Chrome. The site structure is ready for future Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Opera links—without claiming versions that do not exist yet.

Questions, answered

Keep the support surface simple.

Clear guidance for capture limits, protected pages, exports, shortcuts, and privacy. No registration required.

What does processed locally mean?

The current extension captures frames, stitches them, and applies editor changes in the browser. Screenshot pixels are not sent to a ScrollWeave server.

Why cannot I capture a Chrome or Web Store page?

Browser-owned pages such as chrome:// URLs and the Chrome Web Store are restricted by Chrome. ScrollWeave works on regular http and https pages after you start a capture.

Can I save a very long page as a PDF?

Yes. The editor can create a multi-page PDF with A4 or Letter sizing. Very large canvases may be scaled for safe browser editing.

How do I remove a sensitive detail?

Use the blur or redaction tool in the local editor, then review the result before exporting or sharing it.

Do I need an account?

No. ScrollWeave is intended to remain free and the current release does not require an account.

A better long screenshot starts with one click.

Capture the whole page, keep the pixels on your device, and export a file you can actually use.
